Hosts are the heart of JWguest. Good news: hosting on JWguest costs you nothing.
No fees for hosts
- Listing is free: creating and publishing a listing costs nothing.
- No commission on your bookings: you receive the full price you set (nightly price, cleaning fee and extra-guest fees).
Who pays the Service Fee
The guest does. The Service Fee is a percentage that is added on top of your price and is shown to the guest before they send a request. JWguest keeps it to pay for card processing, transfers to your bank, legal compliance, guest support and the running of the platform.
How to read the payout on a request
Every reservation request shows the full breakdown before you accept:
- Open the request: you will find it in your Inbox or under Reservations in the Personal Area bar.
- Check the breakdown: the request shows the nights, the cleaning fee, the Service Fees, the Total paid by the guest and your Total Payout. The "Expires in" countdown (1) shows how long you have to answer.

The line "You will earn [Total] - [Service Fees] = [Total Payout]" means: the total the guest pays includes the Service Fee, which JWguest keeps; you receive your price. For example, if the guest pays Fr 1,645 in total, of which Fr 218 is Service Fee, you receive Fr 1,427.
We send your Total Payout to your bank account 48 hours after the guest checks in. See When you will get your payout.
Protect your home
JWguest does not provide insurance. We recommend that you insure your home, and check whether your policy covers guests and the people they invite.
