Trust and Safety

Is it safe to pay through JWguest?

JWguest offers a secure payment system that allows hosts to receive payments safely and guests to pay with confidence.

Guests can make secure online payments using Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. Payments made through JWguest are protected against listing fraud and unauthorized online payment risks, according to our policy conditions.

In some situations, guests may be able to pay in EUR, USD, GBP, or CAD.

Our payment provider is available in the vast majority of countries, except where restrictions apply to bank accounts or billing addresses located in countries sanctioned by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).

Can I book with confidence?

We want our brothers and sisters to feel confident when booking through JWguest and to reduce any hesitation when making a reservation.

We believe that most hosts are caring, responsible, and willing to resolve any issues directly with their guests. In most cases, we expect concerns to be handled satisfactorily between the guest and the host.

However, if we become aware of serious situations where a host provides a poor service or a negative experience, JWguest reserves the right to take appropriate action based on the individual circumstances.

What we provide

JWguest provides payment protection to help protect your payment against listing fraud.

Our Care Team is available to assist guests before, during, and after their stay by phone or email, especially if they experience difficulties checking in.

If a booking is canceled by a host or property manager at the last minute, we may provide rebooking assistance to help the guest find another suitable accommodation.

What are the conditions?

Reservations must be booked and paid for through the JWguest.com website.

If the accommodation is significantly different from the published description, or if you are denied access to the accommodation, you must contact JWguest Customer Support by phone or email within the first 6 hours of the issue.

Hospitality

Welcome your guests

Once you have a confirmed reservation, it is time to get ready for your guests.

This includes preparing and cleaning your space, coordinating the key exchange, welcoming your guests, and sharing useful local tips.

Preparing your space

Prepare a clean and welcoming space for your guests, and make sure they have everything they may need for a comfortable stay.

This may include an extra set of towels, milk or cream and sugar for coffee, maps or directions, information about the local Kingdom Hall, or instructions for accessing the internet.

You can also surprise your guests with a welcome drink, some chocolate, or a handwritten welcome note. Small details can make a big difference.

Coordinating arrival and departure

Let your guests know whether you will welcome them in person or explain clearly where they can find the keys.

Use the JWguest messaging system to arrange all details related to your guests’ arrival and departure.

Being available during your guests’ stay

During the reservation, be available to help with any issues that may arise.

Share your phone number with your guests. If you will be away from the area, provide them with the contact details of a trusted person who can assist them if needed.

Write a guest review

Writing a genuine review is very important for JWguest’s trusted community.

You have 14 days to write a review and share comments about your experience with your guest.

Your guests can also review you and your space.
