About this accommodation

This is a beautiful, fully furnished 2 Bedroom, one bath apartment (sleeps 3-4). It is located in the very popular pueblo of Cotacachi near several North American gated communities. A very safe area within walking distance to the town center. Enjoy nature at this getaway home! Wake up to the roosters and birds' songs.

The Space

Our place is unique by its electric water heating system, which makes the water hot and consistent in the temperature. The tank preserves the temperature of the water for a few hours.
Hot water is fantastic, compared to most places where water is heated inconsistently by gas or electric showers—fiber optic internet.
According to the CDC, cleanings are professionally done; all is thoroughly disinfected during Covid19 times. Client safety is our goal!

Guest Access

The entire apartment is yours during your stay. You can use the laundry facility (washer-dryer) next door, hang your clothes on the lines out the yard, take your coffee on the deck or yard, and pick your lemons and tangerines when available!

Neighborhood Must-Sees

Just 15 min away from Otavalo, where you can enjoy the largest open-air market in South America - only a 35 cent bus ride away.

Getting Around

The closest airport is Quito UIO. The apartment is not located in the Quito city center, but in Tababela.

The apartment is in a very safe area within walking distance to the town center. Or, if you prefer, take one of the frequent buses a block away or a $1.25 taxi ride.

Hello! My name is Rut Tellechea. I was born in Spain and first came to Ecuador in 2001 to visit a friend who was pioneering here. I fell in love with the country, and in 2002 I decided to come and move to Ecuador permanently. I have made Cotacachi my home since 2007. I have managed my family home/rental for several years.

My husband and I are now serving in a very small congregation one and a half hours away from Cotacachi.
You will fall in love with Cotacachi, most known as the city of the Eternal Spring.
