Enough hanging space for your clothes and drawers for your privates.
This is the full bathroom that includes a walk-in shower floating toilet and a lavatory with cabinets. There is some towels and basic shampoo provided.

About this accommodation

The cottage is located in the yard of my parents’ home. The driveway has a gated entrance that secures the property, and there’s plenty of parking available.
Set behind my parents' house, the tiny house enjoys a sunny terrace that’s bathed in sunlight all day long.

Inside, the main floor features three areas: a kitchen with a living space, a laundry area, and a fully enclosed bathroom with a toilet, walk-in shower, and sink cabinet. Upstairs, you’ll find a spacious enclosed bedroom with plenty of closet space. There’s also an office area that can be converted into a second bedroom featuring two separate single beds.

The property is conveniently located near the city of Deinze, just a 10-minute walk from both the train station and the nearest Albert Heijn supermarket.

We love the open yard, which, during summer, is surrounded by a cornfield offering extra privacy. Apart from my parents — and the cows 😉 — there are no close neighbors.

The Space

Nearby, you’ll find the river De Leie, offering beautiful walking paths and scenic parks like De Brielmeersen. The city of Deinze is calm and peaceful, yet it has everything you might need — including shops, a food market (Albert Heijn), the Kingdom Hall, and a train station.

A special spot worth visiting is 't Leiezolderke, a cozy coffee bar run by a JW family. It’s open on weekends in the afternoons and is perfect for a relaxing visit.

You can also enjoy a lovely walk around the nearby Ooidonk Castle, a historic and picturesque site.

For those wanting to explore more, tourist cities like Bruges and Ghent are easily accessible by train. We actually recommend taking the train, as parking in these cities can be expensive and hard to find.

Guest Access

The entire tiny house is exclusively for your use. Other than the driveway, you won't need to share any space with my parents. Even the walkway leading to the house is lined with a hedge for added privacy. If you’d like, a host can personally welcome you and give you a short tour of the tiny house upon arrival. Alternatively, if you’re arriving later in the evening, we can arrange for the keys to be placed somewhere easily accessible.

Interaction with Guests

The Tiny house is in the yard of my parent's house. They are always available to help during your stay.

Neighborhood Must-Sees

In between farmlands and cowfields near the small city of Deinze. Public swimming pools, castles, river walks, and nearby cities like Ghent, Bruges, Brussels, Antwerp, and Kortrijk.

Getting Around

The Deinze train station is nearby, and there’s plenty of parking available directly at the property.

J'ai reçu un accueil si fraternel. Je me suis sentie chez moi dès les premiers instants. L'expérience est somptueuse, le cadre de vie est paradisiaque. Une maison à la campagne dans un calme reposant, entourée de quelques animaux... Ça nous aide à nous imaginer dans le Paradis. La maison est parfaitement équipée, toutes les commodités sont réunies. Sans oublier une terrasse extérieure parfaite.
