Get away from it all at this unique and tranquil getaway. Experience the majestic mountain view and the Little Humbolt River in the high desert. Built in 1883, this Original one-room Schoolhouse from our own Paradise Valley has been renovated with care to preserve the charm & feel of rural county life in the High Desert. Much care was taken to create a unique remote experience of living on the river in comfort and style. All the amenities you could possibly need paired with a rich outdoor experience filled with the sound of a small waterfall & all the local wildlife. Your hosts live on the property and are happy to offer additional fun on the ranch or let you just soak in the sun in solitude.

The Space

The living room, kitchen, and dining area are all one large open space. The downstairs bedroom has a King bed with luxury bedding. The main bedroom has an ensuite full bath, including a soaker tub. The washer & dryer are also located in this bathroom.
The spacious upstairs loft is a private space with a Queen bed & Luxury bedding and a large built-in work desk. The loft has a 1/2 bath and a small closet.

Guest Access

Access is by a county-maintained gravel road. Guests will enjoy the large acreage surrounding the property, which includes a year-round creek that provides the soothing sounds of rushing water. The property has its own private road—perfect for hiking, riding, and many nearby activities.
