Welcome to “The Little Old House,” our cozy and quiet nest where you can truly unwind and rest, where simplicity meets comfort. Located in the heart of Chatham, you can easily walk to restaurants, shops, and the beautiful Thames River.

We understand that sometimes all you need is a comfortable place to rest your head, along with a welcoming space to cook and enjoy the conveniences of home.

We invite you to experience the simplicity and warmth of this charming old house—a peaceful place where you can breathe, relax, and feel at ease.

The Space

This beautiful, cozy older home is full of charm and character. It features two comfortable bedrooms on the main level and a spacious loft bedroom with its own sitting area. Each bedroom includes a desk, offering a quiet space to work or study in privacy.

Bedroom 1 – Roku TV with remote and DVD player (DVDs available in the desk drawer).
Bedroom 2 – TV with Roku and remote.
Loft Bedroom (Bedroom 3) – TV with Roku, DVD/VHS player with remotes, a collection of DVDs and VHS cassettes, plus a record player with a few records. The loft also includes a surround sound system for the TV.

The kitchen is fully equipped with virtually every appliance you might need, along with spices and some basic condiments available in the refrigerator.

Outside, the home offers a private outdoor sitting area and a charming fenced backyard, perfect for relaxing.

The house is also within walking distance of restaurants and shopping, making it easy to explore the neighborhood.

Guest Access

Guests have access to the entire home and yard.

Other Things to Note

The home is very quiet and is a wonderful place to put your feet up and read a good book! Or break out your swim suit and sunbathe 20 minutes drive south to Erieau Beach (Lake Erie) and 20 minutes drive north to Mitchell’s Bay (Lake St. Clair)

I'm an average retired married sister (husband Peter) who loves Jehovah very much and likes to go the extra mile to be helpful to my senior sisters and brothers.

I really love reading and being in the ministry and spend most of my time in it as an Auxiliary. I also love sharing my time with the Bible studies and on the carts as well as street work. I love singing kingdom songs and gardening, and construction building projects.

I love giving hugs to all my brothers and sisters no matter how old they are.
