Welcome to Stranizza D’Amuri, the ideal retreat for your vacation on the eastern coast of Sicily.

A cozy and well-kept 80 sqm home, designed to make you feel at ease from the very first moment. It features a mezzanine bedroom, a double sofa bed in the living room, a spacious bathroom, and all essential comforts: air conditioning, heating, Wi-Fi, a washer-dryer, and a fully equipped kitchen.

The house boasts a charming private courtyard, perfect for an intimate dinner, as well as a stunning sea-view terrace that surrounds the entire property. Here you can enjoy an aperitif while admiring, on one side, the sea and the tourist port of Riposto with its sailboats and yachts, and on the other, the majesty of Mount Etna—often snow-capped well into late spring, when the beaches along the coast are already inviting.

The house is located in the Scariceddu district, also known as the birthplace of Franco Battiato: a corner of Sicily where time slows down, where the beauty of simple things meets spaces for quietness and reflection, and where the charm of a place still far from mass tourism blends with the convenience of having everything nearby.

Ideally located for exploring eastern Sicily, Stranizza D’Amuri is the perfect base for visiting Taormina (just a 20-minute drive away), going on excursions to Mount Etna, and discovering the region's authentic flavors through food and wine experiences.

Here you will experience the most authentic side of Sicily, with fish markets, living traditions, and genuinely slow rhythms, just a short distance from Catania and its international airport, which connects to numerous Italian, European, and intercontinental destinations.

The name of the house is inspired by “Stranizza d'Amuri,” Franco Battiato’s famous song: a tribute to the spontaneity of an unexpected love born within a vibrant, authentic, and emotionally rich setting.

Here you can enjoy an aperitif while admiring, on one side, the sea and the tourist harbor of Riposto with its sailing boats and yachts, and on the other, the majestic Mount Etna, often snow-capped until late spring, even while the beaches along the coast are already enjoyable.
