About this accommodation

I moved here from Canada 6 years ago and made my adorable beach 4-plex getaway. Newly renovated units with full kitchens, bathrooms with large walk-in showers, bedroom areas with Double/queen, and a double bed for guests. Two units are on the upper level, and two are on the ground floor, including mine. We are in a highly safe area with a 40-minute drive to the English congregation in Merida or a 5-minute drive to the Spanish Kingdom Hall in town.

Smart TVs, Starlink Internet, AC in the bedroom, shared rooftop, pull-up area, and ground-level pool. Located in a small fishing village and only one block to the beach, convenience stores, and restaurants. Lots of public transportation, expats, and attractions are close by. There are so many things to do and experience in the area, and I can help you with it all!

The Space

This unit is the back half of a secure, walled duplex with its own private entrance, street access, carport, and lockable gate. The pool and rooftop are shared with the other units in the building. The owner lives in the front unit and is happy to assist with any questions or needs during your stay.

Guest Access

Guests are welcome anywhere around the property, and are encouraged to use front pool or rooftop deck which is accessed by the lovely spiral staircase up front. Unit has own lockable gate to use when entering and leaving the property.

Neighborhood Must-Sees

Nestled in a tranquil area in the village of Chuburna, Puerto. It is within walking distance to everything, even the main square, which can offer more nightlife and community events. The house has nice breezes where you can regularly hear the crashing waves, palm tree branches move in the wind, birds sing, and children giggle from the nearby school. One block walk on a nice sandy beach road to beautiful beaches, OXXO variety store, restaurants, and transportation.

Getting Around

While having a car is easiest, you’re just one block away from a fully stocked convenience store, the ocean, and several restaurants. Combi vans, Ubers, and moto-taxis are readily available, and we also have bicycles you can borrow. Walking is an option too—especially along the beach, which is our favorite way to get around!

Most services, including restaurants, Amazon, grocery delivery, and laundromats, offer both delivery and pickup.
