About this accommodation

Mango's is clean and comfortable living in Florida. Short and long-term stays are welcome. Mid-way point to Miami, Naples, Sanibel Island, or Venice Beach. You'll enjoy the main living area, which converts from a bedroom to a living room in minutes. Private, stainless steel outdoor kitchen and large rain-head shower. Personal purified water fountain in room. Huge lanai to enjoy beautiful Florida weather and nights under streams of white lights. Casablanca fans and Butterfly Garden!

The Space

This is a well-constructed guest suite on the side of the host's home. You will arrive and park on your own private side driveway, where you enter the apartment through the lanai door. There you will find your private entrance with a number code lock. Enter to find all of the above-mentioned amenities. ;)

Parking is private and free!

Interaction with Guests

I will try to be there at check in, but if I cannot, there will be something in writing to refer to, inside the apartment. Make yourself at home and I will come to meet you as soon as possible and show you around!

Other Things to Note

We have two tame and friendly conures named Mango and Bacardi that will make you think you're already in the new system. If you want to interact with them, just ask. :)

Neighborhood Must-Sees

Neighborhood is older and predominately Spanish. You MAY hear music from time to time, but most are respectful and understand that by 10pm its quiet time. Enjoy some of the best FLAN at nearby Cuban bakeries. There is also a fresh fruit and vegetable market half hour from here, straight from the farm.

Getting Around

We are right off 82. Parking is included - your own private driveway on the side of the guest suite, where you will enter the unit. A car is recommended for your stay.

This location is half an hour in one direction from all the best restaurants and outlet malls. Half an hour in the other direction, you will find a huge outdoor marketplace where you can try your hand at bartering for fresh fruits and veggies with the locals. I am close to grocery stores, drug stores, and gas stations. I am 20mns from RSW international airport. Beaches are 30-60mns away (depending on where you want to go). My daughter is a surfer, so we are full of suggestions! We are close to 82 and 75. Miami is approx 2 hrs from my house and easy to get to. Sanibel and Naples are approx 45mns-1hr depending on traffic. Busch Gardens (Tampa) is approx 2 hrs from home. Fort Myers Beach is 35-45mns, depending on traffic, but my favorite beaches are closer to an hour away and worth every minute of drive time!

I served in both Russian and Italian fields for 25 years, but I am now back in English. I enjoy having company, and as a concierge/personal assistant by trade, I love suggesting great places to eat and visit!
