About this accommodation

Be our treasured guests in our garden cottage off the main house in the suburb of Horison, Roodepoort. Our place offers two bedrooms, one bathroom, an open plan living room with a lounge and kitchenette. The living room overlooks the garden and has outside space to braai if you like. The bathroom offers you a shower-into-bath / toilet/basin. There is unlimited fiber WiFi internet & a Smart TV. Pet-friendly subject to discussion—off-street parking for one or two cars.

The Space

The main bedroom has a queen bed, lots of built-in cupboards. The second bedroom has two single beds, which can also be made up of a king-size bed. The living room has a private entrance that opens onto the garden. There is parking off-road, and 1 vehicle can be locked behind the driveway gate at night. Our place is homely, warm, safe, and if you want a little extra attention from us as your hosts, you will undoubtedly get it. If you need something specific, please feel free to communicate that upfront with us, and we'll try our best to accommodate you.

Guests will have their private place with their private entrance. The rest of the house is the private home of the hosts.

We have 2 Daschund dogs (Coco & Kenzo) who are people-friendly and will likely visit you in your room.

About the Host, Teresa

I am of Cypriot background, born in SA, married to Miya, a Japanese-born chef. We run a catering kitchen from our home in Horison, Roodepoort, as well as a Sushi school for beginners and chef training. We have now opened our personal home to guests to extend our hospitality offering to a more one-on-one experience. We hope you will enjoy staying with us, and our two Dachshund dogs, Coco & Kenzo. We have been in the hospitality industry for the last 21 years, so pleasing our guests and paying attention to the finer details is our business. We have been serving in Roodepoort for the last 15 years. We are both serving as regular pioneers. Come to visit us!
