The Space

This ultra quiet tropical gully offers you just what you need to unwind and rejuvenate mind and body. It is set in a rural area, free from pollution and much traffic so the noise you hear is from the monkeys at play and the birds gently cooing you to sleep. Hammocks in the gardens beg you to just lie and listen to light nature sounds from the lush forest surrounding the property. The cottage is outfitted with everything you need to indulge in yourself or your family. This nature retreat with surrounding trees provide purified air to keep you cool, day and night. Stay with us and experience the best nature has to offer in Barbados.

Sofabed handy sleeps two extra guests at US $30 per guest/per night. Strong Wifi connection. Hammocks in the garden and upper deck for relaxation.

Guest Access

Relax in the gardens around the property, and use the banana from them when in season. The entire apartment is accessible to guests and the upstairs lookout is extra space to a refreshing view of the lush valley in the hammock are relaxing views of the Atlantic ocean. Guest have been loving the Upstairs Lookout for breakfasting.

This area has a unique topography and lend to lovely streams with craw fish. I love to take guest on a hike on Friday evenings and share our Bajan Culture with Guest. Local foods can be tried like conkies, sweet bread and local drinks from seasonal fruits.

Neighborhood Must-Sees

Rural countryside, quiet but friendly neighbours. Situated in the very picturesque Scotland District. On the spot views as well as nearby views while hiking in the closeby hills. Hikes in the nearby streams where there is crayfish is really refreshing. You will love the tranquility and the green space that the location offers. Perfect for a quiet vacation or to work, with your own space among the luxuries of nature. Close neighbors are all family who will treat you and take care of you as part of the family but you dont have to interact if you don't want to.

Getting Around

A car is good for sight seeing but public transport is available. Well equipped kitchen, organic farmers at hand & you can garden too. Harrison Cave & Huntes Garden just 10 minutes away.

Public transportation is available from 6 am to 11pm to Bridgetown and other nearby attractions The public bus system is now available and will take you to practically anywhere in Barbados. The views travelling on the bus are awesome. A rental car will save time. Bicycle rental is available but must be booked one week in advance. We offer car rentals which must be booked in advance.
