Make yourself at home in our airy and light-filled studio with private entry and a fully stocked kitchenette. Echo Lake Studio is all about comfort and convenience.
The Space
There is a dedicated, private outdoor space for guests, perfect for enjoying beautiful NW summers. The queen bed will be hard to leave in the mornings, and a futon converts to a full.
Will you be on a road trip? No worries, free parking is available. The "power kitchenette" features a microwave, toaster oven, induction burner, and more! You will have space to sit for dinner, work on your laptop, or a puzzle. Take advantage of the traveler's lending library—shared laundry with washer and dryer available upon request.
Other Things to Note
Enjoy Netflix and Disney+ on a 55" ROKU TV. Close to good eats and shopping, including Trader Joe's and Costco.
Neighborhood Must-Sees
Just 13 miles north of downtown Seattle with excellent public transportation options within walking distance. Great home base to explore the entire Puget Sound region.
The studio is steps away from the Interurban Trail which takes you to shop, dinner, and a pretty park by Echo Lake. The area is suburban and growing. Aside from the trail, there are walkable streets with sidewalks. The nights are quiet, perfect for snoozing. Dining choices nearby include Thai, Vietnamese, Cuban, Italian, Hawaii (Poke), and Taiwanese. Burgers, pizza, and Starbucks, too.
Within a mile of the studio, there is a large grocery store (Fred Meyer), Costco, Trader Joe's, drugs stores, and a few banks. We are only a ten-minute drive away from two beaches: Edmonds and Richmond Beach Saltwater Park.
Getting Around
We are located between two major roadways- Interstate 5 and Highway 99. Shoreline Park and Ride is a five-minute walk.
From the Park and Ride, a bus runs all day and into the evening that will take you directly to downtown Seattle. Two buses will transfer you to the new light rail station in Northgate. Aurora Village Transit Center is a fifteen-minute walk on the Interurban Trail. You will find additional bus connections into Seattle and north into Snohomish County, including Edmonds.
It's an easy 11 mile Uber drive to the Smith Cove Cruise Terminal at Pier 91. Bell Street Pier Cruise Terminal at Pier 66 is a few miles further south of downtown.
