Approx. 5 min drive from St Michiel’s popular attractions: beach bars Blue Bay & Kokomo, dive centers, a fishing village
w/restaurants & 2 beautiful free beaches w/palapas, a nice flamingo habitat, Sambil mall, De Visserij restaurant & Centrum Supermarket w/ATM.
Bus stop across the street; goes straight to old city Otrobanda.

NO topless, shirtless or beachwear.

The Space

Kasita B is a cozy and comfortable 1 bedroom apartment for 2 persons and has private entrance. Looking like a hotel room but with home-like comfort.

Normal use of water, electricity, and cooking gas is included. Electricity use: up to 10kWh per day.

Neighborhood Must-Sees

The neighborhood of Jan Doret is situated in the area of St Michiel.
St Michiel is well known for some distinctive attractions of the island such as Curaçao Blue Bay Beach & Golf Resort, fishermen’s village “Boka”, Kokomo Beach and Bullen Bay/Curaçao Oil Terminal.
On your way to Kokomo beach you will see a nice flamingo habitat on your left. “Boka” has 2 beautiful free beaches with palapas, restaurants with delicious food and beautiful view and a diveschool.

Jan Doret is divided in two sections, separated by a set of oil pipes.
The section on the east side of the pipes is called “Jan Doret bieu” (old Jan Doret) and the one at the west side “Jan Doret nobo” (new Jan Doret). The east side was created first.
Another interesting feature of Jan Doret is that you have access to it only via one side of the island.

The neighborhood is the home of some famous people in the community of Curaçao. For example the former president of the Central Bank of Curaçao, school directors, government officials, artists and pioneer businessmen. There is a song dedicated to this nice neighborhood, called “Jan Doret” of course.

Getting Around

There is a busstop right across the street that goes straight to old city Otrobanda.

Renting a car is beneficial as you save time and can visit more attractions.
