The Space
This is a 100-year-old tiny cottage, completely renovated with modern conveniences. Cozy and comfortable, after a good night's sleep you can roam and explore a working farm in rural West Virginia. We ask for the safety of our guests not to access the farm on the side with the double agates, this side of the farm has mama cows with their calves and bulls, grazing, they can be quite unpredictable so we ask guests not to enter the farm on this site. You may enjoy the livestock from the fence this is for your safety. We also ask guests to admire the barns from a distance, we do not permit any entry into any of the barns on the farm.
Hiking is available on the farm behind the brick house there are several nice walking areas in that area.
Guest Access
Guests we’ll be able to visit the farm, take photos, and enjoy walks on the property. A fire pit is available for use, lawn chairs are stored in the little building beside the cottage.
The areas of the farm through the double gates with the large red barn are not available to guests. The mama cows and their calves and bulls are grazing on that part of the farm guests are not permitted in any of the barns. This is for the safety of our guests.
The area of the farm behind the brick house has a nice walking area that we encourage our guests to use.
Depending on the time of year cautions during hunting season.
Other Things to Note
If you bring your dog, please clean up after your pet and keep them on a leash, there are coyotes in the area. Guests are not permitted access to the big red barns through the double gates, there are bulls, and cows with calves that can be unpredictable. We want our guests to be safe.
Neighborhood Must-Sees
The little town of Reedy, which time has forgotten, is only 3 miles down the road. There are two stores where you can buy foodstuff. Reedy groceries and more have fresh deli meat, Beer, soda, snacks, a full grill, and a bar. They have a dining area along with pool tables and a jukebox. What more can you ask in a bit of town in time has forgotten.
There’s also Terrell’s. They have everything you would ever need, including hardware, lumber, all your grocery needs, homemade food served every day. They have blue plate specials every day at noon with a dining area. They also have a Pork barbecue and hotdogs, the best this side of the Mississippi. Indeed a country five-star experience.
Tell Chery at Terrell’s That Ben Sent you.

I am a caretaker here on the farm that has been in my family for over 100 years. I enjoy the hard work and nature with a simple way of life serving Jehovah to the full!
Would love to host and meet some of my dear brothers and sisters from near to far.
