Unwind in this serene, newly built, away—from—the—crowd, in Roatan, thoughtfully designed for a relaxation retreat, to wake up with the sound of the birds. 15 min walk to the West End community and beach, it offers the perfect escape from everyday city life, featuring a private pool and modern amenities you need for a pleasant stay. Whether your day feels like lounging poolside, beach walking, lunch and shopping, or enjoying the cozy interiors, this spacious home provides a peaceful vacation.
The Space
A quiet and safe area surrounded by nature. A minute paved walk to the main road, with parking for two cars. 3 steps down from the parking to the cottage entrance, then step-free throughout. Solar outdoor lighting + backup indoor lamp for power outages. Water bucket and hose at the entrance for rinsing sand off feet.
Other Things to Note
* Additional charges for check-in or check-out before or after the established time may apply.
* Electricity is private on the island, making everything more expensive & water is also valuable. Please be mindful of the electricity; ceiling fans may stay on at all times. Perhaps more important is to turn off the AC when you are not in the same room, when leaving the property, or when the doors or windows are open. Along with keeping the AC unit at 26°C (78°F). You can save water by smartly using the washer and dishwasher, reusing towels, or applying other useful ways to save.
* Reminder - as the electricity is included, charges may apply for going over the allowance. The total is calculated based on meter readings taken at check-in and check-out.
* Keep in mind that since we are on an island, occasional power outages may occur unexpectedly. We currently do not have a generator.
* In case you'd like additional cleaning during your stay, ask your reservation assistant about the price for this service.
* Island Wildlife - Sandflies, geckos, ants, and agoutis are part of the Roatán experience! All harmless and normal in the tropics. We fumigate regularly, but keep repellent handy and enjoy spotting the local agouti around the property.
Neighborhood Must-Sees
2 min walk to the main road, 15 min walk to the beach. No barking dogs around. Just four homes surrounded in an almost 2-acre area. Low traffic.
