I've created a small apartment on the side of my home. It has a small living area with a kitchenette and a one-bedroom, one-bathroom unit. The apartment has a private yard and a private entrance.

Getting Around

If you’re looking to explore the area, there are some great local spots to enjoy.

The Venetian Pool is a beautiful historic swimming spot filled daily with fresh spring water. It’s a unique experience and definitely worth visiting. If you’re heading further south, there’s also Key Largo, where you’ll find beautiful waterfront areas and pools to enjoy.

Closer to the airport, there are additional swimming facilities as well. For a relaxing waterfront day, you can visit Black Point Marina. Many people enjoy lying in the sun, grabbing a bite to eat, and soaking in the peaceful marina ambiance. Another nearby gem is Homestead Bayfront Park (9698 SW 328th St, Homestead), which is just minutes away. It features a calm, man-made atoll-style beach, a marina, and a restaurant — perfect for a laid-back beach day.

Just a quick note: in Miami, renting a car is highly recommended, as most places require driving to get around comfortably.
