Sit on the porch and enjoy A glass of iced tea or a beer or whatever sounds refreshing to you ( there’s a blender in the house). Play a game of Texas toss (a.k.a. cornhole ) or sit and prop your feet up.
Our semi-tropical climate makes for year-round enjoyment of local activities. The bays and the Gulf of Mexico are so close they offer endless ways to spend quality time.
Port Aransas it’s just 11 miles away, and you have an opportunity to ride the ferry and will likely spot pelicans and porpoises playing in the water.
We are in Aransas county between Rockport and Aransas Pass.
Enjoy the quiet of country life and end with the short drive and be in the middle of so many things to do, see and photograph.
Guest Access
Front and back doors have deadbolts for protection, with the front door accessible by code. Your code will be set on the day of your arrival.
Interaction with Guests
I am available by text or phone, and I live nearby, so if there’s anything you need just get in contact with me and I’ll do my best to give you the perfect lodging experience.
If you would like to say hello in person, I’ll drop by when you arrive. Otherwise, I’ll stay in the background unless you need me for something.

I have a twin-sized bed height air mattress available on request for that extra guest.
