About this accommodation

Hi, my dear sisters. Budget-friendly, with daily, weekly, or monthly rates, this small, charming, roommate-style accommodation is a great option. Less than an hour from Jacksonville International Airport to the north. One hour to Daytona International to the south. This is a 2-bedroom/2-bathroom unit. The available room has a queen-size bed and a full bath. This gem is located on the 3rd floor (top floor) of a walk-up. No elevator. Free parking, wifi, and all utilities are included. The property also has a fitness center, pool, and a beautiful 1-mile loop walking trail. It's a wonderful opportunity for a single sister, but depending on the type of visit, two can sleep comfortably in the room. You can bring a blow-up mattress and use it for a 3rd sister, or maybe set it up for the younger kiddos. I wouldn't mind if any of the friends needed to sleep on the couch, which would fit one comfortably. We can sort that out on a case-by-case basis. (4 max)

The Space

I live in the unit, so this is a roomie style arrangement. This space is for my sisters only. It would be ideal for a sister traveling on her own or coming to the area for work on an itermittant basis. Also great if you are looking to relocate here and need reasonable lodging until you get permamently settled. Space includes use of the refrigerator, stove, microwave, 2 slice toaster, anything 'kitchen'. Longer stays have access to the in-unit washer and dryer. Kitchen, dinette area and livingroom are an open space concept. There is also a screened lanai you can relax on. It's not a large unit but if don't want to break your wallet this may be just what you are looking for.

Guest Access

Enjoy access to all the common areas of the unit including the kitchen which now brings me to a list that makes me happy and seemingly never ending.....some close by stops for a bite include Culvers, Fords Garage, Texas Roadhouse, Chick Fil A, Ned's Southside Kitchen, Bronx House Pizza, St. Augustine Fish Camp, Aunt Kate's, Columbia Resturant, Blue Hen, Falafel Queen, Green Papaya Thai & Sushi, Bojangles Chicken, Waffle House, Cantina Louie, Sonnys BBQ. The Floridian, Catch 27, Llama Restaurant, etc. No shortage of treats and eats in these parts. Also a few miles away is a Buc-ee's. A must-do experience at least once in your lifetime. For those who plan to cook at home, there is an Aldi, Winn-Dixie, Publix, and Walmart.

Interaction with Guests

I'd be very happy to help you with suggestions and recommendations tailored to your specific needs and wants during your stay. Downtown St. Augustine is 7 miles away. The beach is less than 10 miles away. The Kingdom Hall is a couple of miles down the road. The Watchtower Educational Center in Palm Coast is 35 minutes away. Daytona Assembly Hall is about an hour away. If you want to carpool to the meetings, go out in service together, or have me show you around, that works for me. If you wish to keep your stay private and do your own thing with minimal interaction, I respect that decision and appreciate your boundaries.

Hello, dear friends. I am an early-to-bed, early-to-rise sister. Love meeting new people. I try to eat healthy and keep fit, but sometimes that can be a challenge, as I am a foodie living in an area where there are so many good choices for 'delicious eats' from a wide variety of culinary diversity. If Barcelona and the Florida Keys had a baby, it would be Beautiful St. Augustine...lol. This stunning town is also filled with culture, history, art, live music, river activities, and, of course, the many beaches of the Atlantic Ocean. The Amphitheater often gets some fun musical artists. Always a surprise to hear which groups, for friends of all ages, come to town to perform. Downtown will not disappoint, with many attractions and shops to visit. No shortage of fun cafes either. Including the Cuprabura Cafe. While I love enjoying all the adventure and experiences this area has to offer, I've adapted to my ever-changing 'new norm' and stay home more than I'd like because some physical limitations have slowed me down a bit. What hasn't changed is that I keep spiritual matters first and stick very close to Jehovah's organization. I have no fleshly family in the truth. No longer have pets. But I love all animals. There's a lovely zoo in Jacksonville that always makes for a fun day trip. Since it's just Jehovah and me, I feel blessed to lead a quiet, happy life serving Him to my fullest capacity with limited distractions. Love to volunteer my time for the organization and help out any way I can. Again, I have some progressive physical limitations, but I still love to bake sweet treats and try new recipes, even if it's now at a modified pace. My favorite feel-good scripture (is there such a thing as one?...hmm lol) is Isaiah 11:6-9. My all-time favorite kingdom song is Make the Truth You Own. To Do Your Will Is My Delight is a close second.
