About this accommodation

Renovated apartment in Mestre, located in the central area of Mestre in a quiet residential area, a city where there is the international airport "Marco Polo," the central train station, and the motorway junction. Mestre is connected to the island of Venice through the bridge named "Ponte Della Libertà".

The Space

The Space has 2 bedrooms (4 people), one bathroom, lounge beds, and a kitchenette. Suitable for families, quiet: walking distance of supermarkets, pharmacies, shops, pizzerias, and public transport, 20min from Venice. There is no private parking in the vicinity.

Guest Access

You can access the 2 bedrooms (double and single), bathroom with shower and washing machine, living room with TV and sofa bed, kitchenette with fridge and microwave. Free wi-fi access (ask at check-in).

Interaction with Guests

We love to know our guests and their country: you will be welcomed by a member of my family, a sister, or me. If you like, we will help you by providing useful information to get to know Venice, its wonderful lagoon with its characteristic islands, and other nearby cities (Verona, Treviso, Padua). We will explain how to use public transport to reach Venice, the train station, and the airport. We'll give you useful tips about Venice and its lagoon.

We are a few meters from the stop (Oberdan) of the Tram / Bus that connects Venice, the train station, the airport, the park of San Giuliano (overlooking the lagoon), the shopping area, and the pedestrian area of Mestre, where you will find a cinema, theater, and shops. Always on foot, you can find supermarkets, pizzerias, ice cream parlors, restaurants, and pastry shops; nearby, there are some pharmacies and banks and the city park "Bissuola" and the gardens of the tree-lined Viale Garibaldi.

I had a fantastic stay at this apartment in Mestre! The place was clean, well organized, and very comfortable. It’s perfect for a short visit or a longer stay. The location was excellent. Being so close to the train and bus connections made it easy to get into Venice quickly, while still enjoying the quieter pace of Mestre. Plus, there are plenty of great restaurants and shops nearby, so everything I needed was within walking distance. Thank you to sister! The hosts were wonderful—warm

Silvia, Matteo, and Alessandro were very kind hosts. The apartment was clean and a good location to the bus/tram stop that takes you to Venice. Good neighborhood with a market within a 5 minute walk. Would definitely stay there again if ever in the area.

Silvia and her family warmly welcomed us. The apartment was very clean, cozy, and comfortable, and we felt at home. They were very accommodating in providing information on nearby amenities and tourism. We greatly appreciated Silvia providing a taxi service from the airport and then again to the train station. We also appreciated Silvia connecting us with the local English-speaking congregation. We will certainly consider returning to Silvia's apartment in the future. Everything was great!

We were met at the apartment by Sister Silvia, who showed us around the apartment; our accommodation was very comfortable and had everything we needed. It is close to transport and shops—a very quiet area. Highly recommend. Silvia and her husband are very hospitable and show Venice's sights.
