About this accommodation

Reconnect with nature in a 5-acre, park-like setting. The property has been rated in the top 1% of homes by Airbnb. Our luxury 40’ RV sits on nearly 5 beautifully nature-scaped acres in rural Southeastern Arizona. We are located in a high desert. Area elevation is over 4,300 feet. Meander through the property and enjoy well-maintained walking paths. Peace and tranquility at your doorstep. Excellent birding opportunities. Located just 2 miles from the San Pedro Riparian National Conservation Area--Hereford Bridge Trail entrance.

The Space

This luxurious RV sits a good distance from the main house and provides maximum privacy for our guests. Soak in the sights and sounds of nature when sitting on the elevated redwood deck. Within steps of the RV is a private sitting and picnic area with a Solo Stove firepit to provide guests with one of their favorite experiences—nighttime bonfires while stargazing. There's a gas grill conveniently located next to the RV that is clean and ready to use.

The RV has an attractive and highly effective electric ‘fireplace’ for those cold Winter days/nights, and central air conditioning for the warmer times of the year.

There is a 42" Sony TV in the living room with a soundbar, and a DVD player with a modest collection of movies for you to enjoy. There is a 2nd, smaller TV in the bedroom. The Internet is connected via WiFi, and the TVs are connected to Roku devices.

This spacious travel trailer has plenty of windows with great views of the property and pull-down blinds for added privacy. The bedroom hosts an 'extra-wide' 13" Alexander Signature Hybrid Pillowtop queen mattress by Nestl Bedding. It is adorned with high-quality bed linens. There is one caveat regarding the bed; it sits somewhat high off the ground. There is a dresser for your use, and a roomy closet for hanging clothes and luggage. The built-in cabinet in the bedroom is used to store bath linens and game sets. The bathroom is good-sized with a large shower and generous counter space on the vanity.

The neighborhood can be described as a mixture of attractive, high-end, 4-5-acre site-built homes and humble manufactured homes, which also sit on 4-5-acre lots. Most roads in our neighborhood are dirt roads, but are easily traveled.

We are located approximately 17 miles from the heart of town in Sierra Vista, where you will find several grocery stores and restaurants to choose from.

We are on-site most of the time and love to be of help.

Guests are welcome to a complimentary professional ‘mini-session’ photo shoot. It's held right here on site upon request.

Our guests are welcome to enjoy our entire property. There are walking paths throughout the property to enjoy.

Other Things to Note

Each season offers something of interest. Wintertime is quite cold, and sometimes it snows. Spring brings the budding of new growth, but with it comes STRONG winds. If you don't like wind, this may not be the time of year for you. Summertime usually, but not always, brings the Monsoon rain and drama in the skies. Fall brings beautiful Fall colors and fabulous skies.

Very relaxing stay! It is a small piece of paradise. It was so nice to sit on the porch and watch the birds and rabbits. The general area is a bird watching hot spot. The RV is very clean and well furnished. Rod and Rebecca went out of their way to make us feel comfortable.

Rod and Rebecca's accomodations are wonderful! Perfectly clean, perfectly set up with all the essentials and more. And the setting! So beautiful! The gardens and deck and sitting area for guests are beautiful, private, and serene. I couldn't have enjoyed my stay more and hope to come back some day.
