I am a hearing Elder and pioneer, I live in South Wales, but serve in a Sign Language Congregation in London. So me and my wife (also a pioneer) spend most of our time in London.
We used to breed and show Great Danes, and at one point we had 17 dogs and 7 cats. Now we only have a 3 ducks and a hen. While we miss having the dogs around, it has freed us up to do more for Jehovah and possibly will allow us to travel.
