About the Host, Rolf Georg

My parents got baptized in 1972 when I was eight years old. At eighteen, I got baptized just before I was imprisoned for three years due to being a conscientious objector.

365 brothers were sentenced with me in January 1983 for refusing to join the military force. These three years really helped me to study Jehovah's inspired words and cement my precious relationship with Jehovah.

My wife Rachel and I moved to the ranch in 2007 to serve where the need was greater. We associated with the Otjiwarongo Congregation, and every week on Fridays and Saturdays, we preached in Outjo, just 70 km from Otjiwarongo. Outjo became a group with a few publishers in the latter part of 2008.

In May 2010, Outjo became a Congregation where I have the privilege to serve as the lone elder to this day. A brother was appointed as a ministerial servant from the Outjo territory. My wife and I have seen how Jehovah's blessing grows the congregation. Now Outjo congregation enjoys a United brotherhood of 22 publishers who conduct, on average, 52 bible studies. I'm an exclusive Wildlife farmer and love photography.

We have two pugs and two jack Russells and an African Wildcat as pets. We travel mainly to African countries due to our love for wildlife and diverse cultures.
