I've recently been helping my cousin with her home as an Airbnb rental. While she's not a witness, she is quite respectful of my beliefs and follows my lead when it comes to how the Airbnb is run. So, you'd have no issues staying at her place.
You'd have the entire apartment to yourself. It's located on the second floor of a walk up and is a 20 minute ride by bus to Manhattan.
