About this accommodation

We decorated this house and loved living here; it was home for 7 years. We decorated it in a boutique style. It has high ceilings and air conditioning.

It is truly a luxury home with panoramic views of the Jura Parc in all seasons. We loved living here ourselves, but we needed to move due to the increase in traffic on our route to the Kingdom Hall. So our lives are now simpler, and we are waiting for the right tenants to rent it out. In the meantime, we thought, how wonderful to rent it out to the brothers and sisters 🤗🥰

The Space

200 square meters, ample space for four or more persons. Extremely quiet location, only the birds and church bells in the morning (if you leave the window open).

Many modern features like bespoke lighting and a Quooker for instant hot water.

Ensuite bath/shower room and walk-in wardrobe attached to the master bedroom.

Bespoke boutique decorations throughout. Come and relax in this much-loved home, with direct access to the woods. 5 mins drive from the German border with many shopping options and restaurants 🙏🏽

Interaction with Guests

Of course, we are here to facilitate. We'd love to work with you in the ministry. The local Swiss German Cong is only 20 mins away. We go to the Basel English Cong about 40 40-minute drive from the house.

Neighborhood Must-Sees

Mettau is extremely quiet and serene, with only the birds tweeting on waking each morning and the local church bells gently tolling on the hour. The sunsets are really amazing and at night the stars and moon are truly breathtaking. We have a new village cafe which serves amazing coffee's and homemade almond croissants along with a lovely homemade menu. We also have a village florist/post service and the bus will take you either to Laufenburg or Brugg from here.

Getting Around

Car, bicycle. The bus number 142 takes you either Laufenburg or Brugg where the strain stations can take you to either Basel or Zurich. From Laufenburg you can walk to the German Laufenburg shopping park which takesabout 20 minutes at a brisk pace.
