Come enjoy your modern "beach shack" in the highly sought-after town of Kailua Kona! Walking distance to a beautiful white sand beach and dozens of restaurants, shopping, and entertainment, this location has plenty to offer!

Spend your morning in field service with a 10-minute drive to our group, then explore the rest of the island! Join one of the several English congregations, Spanish, Chinese, or even join Hawaiian Pidgin. Whether it's chomping on fresh macadamia nuts, exploring the depths of a volcano, stargazing underneath Mauna Kea, visiting one of the only green or black sand beaches in the world, or simply trying some famous Kona coffee - this trip will not leave you disappointed!

I am happy to help connect you to local friends, meetings, and service arrangements. There are a couple of witnesses who also live onsite, next door.

The Space

A quaint Ohana in the heart of Kailua town, equipped with all that you need for daily life! This is my own living space that I will be renting out periodically.

Full-size bed (extra linens available). Couch pulls out/reclines for sleep, but does not have a full mattress. Plenty of pillows available.

appliances include: air fryer, toaster, Keurig, microwave, hotplate, various cooking utensils, and knife set

Tub and shower, shampoo, conditioner, and body soap will be provided. Towels (including two beach towels) will be provided)

TV is mounted & has shows available to stream already programmed into the TV, music station, YouTube, etc. Roku has JW broadcasting available. 🩵

A/C available or plenty of windows/open screens if you prefer the salty ocean breeze!

Guest Access

You will have your own private entrance and designated parking space, as well as a fenced-in small entryway. There is a dog that lives onsite (a blue heeler, she is friendly and belongs to the brother and sister who live in the main house)

Interaction with Guests

I will be able to get you connected with the friends here if you have anything specific in mind - let me know in advance, and I'll do my best to make it happen!

There is a witness couple that lives onsite; they do have a few house rules (since I rent next door) that will apply to your stay

Noise level is quiet at 10 PM

Other Things to Note

Unfortunately, the home is older ,so you can only use one kitchen appliance at a time. If you are a big cooker, this may be a downer for you!

Getting Around

There is a free trolley to get you around Kailua Kona town (although you'll need patience as there are plenty of stops), but you can also take in the island breeze. Other transportation options are available that take you full scope around the island, such as HELE-ON.
