Our family home is located in Kaimuki, an old residential Honolulu neighborhood. It is a charming, traditional home, its redwood walls and oakwood floors give it a cozy feel. From our window, you will enjoy the view of the Waikiki skyline and the ocean. We truly enjoyed our stay with Penelope. She is a welcoming host. The space was clean and inviting. The location was convenient and quiet. The parking space was very practical for us with our rental car. Check-in and check-out were easy and straightforward. I would recommend this to anyone coming to Honolulu for the Assemblies in Mililani or for leisure.
Our stay with sister Penelope was lovely. Quiet neighborhood, close to the beach, and comfortable room and bed. Sister Penelope hospitality was so warm and inviting, we felt as though we were at home. We would definitely recommend Sister Penelope’s home!
Penelope was a polite and fantastic host! The space was perfect for my wife and I and I would 100% return. So wonderful to go on vacation in a spiritually strong household.

The Space
We offer a double room for 1 - 2 people. Comfortable boxspring bed, closet and mirror, TV, armchair, and a chest of drawers. Recently renovated in 2021.

Other Things to Note
Long-term stays are welcome (sister/s only). This is a shared home, there are 2 bedrooms, I am in one bedroom and renting out the other one. I am a very easy-going sister to live with :)
If you are coming to attend an Assembly in Mililani, I will give you a refund for the cleaning fee.
The Neighborhood
Waikiki is 5 mins away, the Kingdom Hall 3 mins, Diamond Head 5 mins. Kapahulu Ave boasts a lot of different food places and is only walking distance. Waialae Ave is 3 mins away and offers cafés, restaurants, bakeries, etc. There are several supermarkets all within 5 mins or less. Legendary Rainbow Drive-In is just down the street from our place.
Getting Around
Bus stop is around the corner, parking comes with the room.
